About & methodology
Perq is a directory of free AI credits, startup programs, free tiers and perks for people building with AI. Avatar 8 LLC runs it. One rule applies to every listing: show the proof.
What every listing includes
- The exact source quote. A verbatim sentence from the vendor’s own page that states the amount and/or eligibility. If we can’t find that sentence on the page, the offer isn’t published.
- The source link. A direct HTTPS link to the page we quoted. No redirect wrappers and no tracking redirects.
- A last-verified timestamp (date and time, US Eastern) plus the HTTP status the source returned when we checked it.
- Closed offers stay listed. When a program ends, its page stays up and is marked “closed on <date>”, so you can see what used to exist and when it ended.
How we verify
- We find candidate offers on first-party vendor pages: startup program pages, pricing pages, docs and student pages.
- A script fetches each source page (with a headless-browser fallback for JavaScript-heavy pages) and confirms the quoted text is actually there. Entries whose quote can’t be found are dropped.
- Daily re-check: our standard is to re-fetch every source URL once a day, compare the quote, update the last-verified time, and flag offers that changed, broke or closed for human review.
- Values are always the vendor’s own wording. We don’t estimate a dollar “value” or assign scores.
Current dataset: 136 offers; latest verification Oct 19, 2026, 6:14 AM ET.
Independence & money
- No paid ranking. Nobody can pay to move up or to be listed. Ordering is by category and vendor name.
- No affiliate links today. Every “claim” link goes straight to the vendor. If we ever use affiliate or referral links, each one will be labeled inline next to the link and listed on this page. Affiliate status will never affect inclusion or order.
- Any future sponsored placement will be clearly labeled and kept separate from the verified listings.
For agents and developers
- /llms.txt gives a site summary and index. /llms-full.txt has every offer in plain text.
- /api/offers.json is the full dataset as JSON (free to use; please link back).
- Every offer page has a Markdown twin: append
.mdto the URL, e.g. /offers/aws-activate-credits.md. - /feed.xml is an RSS feed of offers by verification time. /sitemap.xml is the sitemap.
Corrections & contact
Found an offer that changed, closed or is missing? Vendors can also ask for a correction. Email ops@avatar33.com with the source link and we’ll re-check it against the vendor’s page.
Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Programs are run by their vendors, and terms can change without notice. Always confirm on the vendor’s page before you rely on an offer.
